Our Sites in Southern California
The location of the conference and campus is located at 1050 Lakes Drive in West Covina, California; a small community west of Los Angeles. Our seminar and learning location is distinctive compared to that of most institutions. Other colleges pack as many students into a classroom as possible to listen to a lecture. We never forget that our pupils are not seeking a conventional experience. Since our students are already business-minded owing to their membership in business organizations, we employ many boardrooms for the main portion of the class and tiny breakout rooms for students to collaborate on case studies in small groups.
Students return to the boardroom to present their results to the rest of the class and the teacher upon conclusion of the case study module. We believe this contributes to a more realistic workplace, given the majority of modern businesses employ teams, open workstations, and meeting rooms.
Edgewood College of California is committed to maintaining a distinctive campus appearance. Our students do not feel as though they are on a college campus, but rather are receiving a genuine business training experience to assist our sponsors’ members become better leaders. Beautiful fountains, seats, a variety of restaurants, and even a movie theater surround the exterior of our instructional facility.
In addition, our office, registrar, and numerous classes are situated at our Rosemead facility. We are currently seeking a larger facility to manage our growing student body.
Our California sites have a total of four boardrooms and six conference rooms with an open floor concept. The majority of ECC classes occur in boardrooms. Multiple breakrooms allow students to rest during class breaks and between classes.
Occasionally, we may utilize classrooms that accommodate between 18 and 30 students. ECC utilizes many classrooms designed for bigger student groupings (but we aim for less than 20 per group). Classes that overlap between two or more programs, such as Organizational Behavior and the Capstone, may result in such cases. On occasion, IABP events feature special lectures preceding the major events, such as banquets and conferences.
