FOR QUALIFIED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
On the journey to your college education, we know the first steps can often be the most challenging. And we believe you deserve help starting out as you make the exciting decision to invest in your future. With our Opportunity Grant1, DeVry University offers qualifying students extra assistance in offsetting the cost of tuition.
This grant award program is available to new and readmit undergraduate students, and offers $500 toward the cost of tuition in your first semester. Specific eligibility criteria applies, see award details below.

ENROLLMENT STATUS
To be eligible for the DeVry University Opportunity Grant, you must be enrolled in a certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree program at DeVry University. Qualifying new and readmit undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolling in at least 6 credit hours per semester for the first semester at DeVry University are eligible—including international students studying on an F1 visa and returning alumni.
Students who place foundations may not receive the Opportunity Grant until they have successfully completed their foundations coursework and then take an additional course(s).
You must have applied and satisfied all scholarship criteria by Saturday, July 20, 2019 (or earlier if total allocation is reached prior to this date) to be awarded for the July 2019 session.
AWARDING PROCESS
The Opportunity Grant amount will be a one-time award of $500. The award will be paid out equally over the student’s first semester (first and second sessions) of enrollment, as long as the student remains enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for their first semester.
RESTRICTIONS
- Continuing students are not eligible
- This scholarship cannot be used in combination with one of our other group-specific tuition rates, including the Business Edge Scholarship, military or corporate education partner savings
- Opportunity Grant recipients who do not start classes in their intended session specified on the admissions application will have their award expired and will have to reapply for available offerings at that time.

HOW IT WORKS
The Business Edge Scholarship is available to applicants based on their incoming GPA. All qualifying students enrolling in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Technical Management bachelor’s degree programs will receive an award of $600 per semester if attending full time or $300 per semester if attending at least half-time with a lifetime award of $7,000.
ENROLLMENT STATUS
To be eligible for the Business Edge Scholarship, you must be enrolled in a in a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Bachelor’s in Management, or Bachelor’s in Technical Management degree program at DeVry University. Qualifying new undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolling in at least 6 credit hours per semester at DeVry University are eligible—including international students studying on an F1 visa. DeVry University or Keller Graduate School of Management alumni are eligible.
You must have applied and satisfied all scholarship criteria by Saturday, July 20, 2019 (or earlier if total allocation is reached prior to this date) to be awarded for the July 2019 session.
GRADE POINT AVERAGE AND CONTINUED ELIGIBILITY
You must enroll with an incoming GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale to be eligible as a new student. To maintain scholarship/grant eligibility, you must retain a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester. Your DeVry CGPA requirement of a 2.5 will be reviewed each semester.
If your CGPA falls below 2.5, you will lose your scholarship and future awards will be removed. You may fall below 6 credit hours of enrollment in only one semester. If you do not enroll in at least 6 credit hours in the subsequent semester, you will lose your scholarship award.
If you transfer to a program that is not eligible for the Business Edge Scholarship, the scholarship will be removed.
READMIT STUDENTS
If you are readmitted to DeVry after missing six or more consecutive sessions, you may be eligible for the Business Edge Scholarship if:
- You have a DeVry CGPA of 2.5 or above at time of admission
- You are in good academic standing. If you are unsure of your standing, contact an admissions representative.
RESTRICTIONS
- Only applicants enrolling in Bachelor’s in Accounting, Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Bachelor’s in Management, or Bachelor’s in Technical Management degree programs are eligible. Applicants enrolling in any other program are not eligible.
- Scholarship recipients who do not start within their intended start term will have their award expired and will have to reapply for available offerings at time of actual enrollment
- This scholarship is not combinable for students who qualify for one of our other special pricing programs, including military rates, partner group tuition rates through DeVryWORKS and the DeVry University Opportunity Grant

DENNIS KELLER SCHOLARSHIP
FOR QUALIFIED GRADUATE STUDENTS
The Dennis Keller Scholarship is the award program created for students with a history of successful academic performance as they complete their master’s degree or certificate. Graduate students with an incoming undergraduate or graduate cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.8 or above as conferred by a Keller-recognized institution are eligible for this award. Readmit students must also have a Keller CGPA of 3.0 or higher.
The scholarship continues to reward you as you move through your program at Keller, ranging from $400-$800 per semester for six semesters and a maximum $4,800 lifetime tuition savings.4

READMIT STUDENTS
- If you are readmitted to Keller after missing six or more consecutive sessions, you may be eligible for the Dennis Keller Scholarship if:
- You are not a previous award recipient of another Keller scholarship
- You have not reached the lifetime cap for the award amount
- You have a Keller CPGA of at least 3.0
- Readmit students who were previous recipients of other scholarship awards will be evaluated according to the guidelines and restrictions of their previous scholarships, and are not eligible for this award
RESTRICTIONS
- Award will expire for scholarship recipients who do not enroll/attend a class within two terms of their award acceptance. Students must reapply for any available award offerings at the time of their enrollment to qualify in the future

FEDERAL PELL GRANT PROGRAM
Awarded to students who have not earned a bachelor’s degree. The maximum grant for the 2019-2020 award year is $6,195. Award amounts are based on the number of hours enrolled and the Federal Pell Grant program regulations.
FEDERAL SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY GRANT (FSEOG)
Awarded to Pell-eligible undergraduate students (who have not earned a bachelor’s degree) who demonstrate exceptional financial need.
FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM
The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides funding to DeVry University for jobs that enable students to earn money to help pay for school. Your financial need determines whether you qualify for these jobs and the maximum amount you can earn each year. Keller Graduate School of Management General Scholarship and Grant Policies
- Recipients are responsible for all other educational expenses.
- Only degree-seeking students eligible for scholarship or grant funds unless specified within the specific award criteria
- Must be a United States citizen, Canadian citizen or reside within the United States. International students studying on a visa not eligible unless specified in specific award criteria
- Requires Standard placement in Math and English on DeVry administered placement test or placement equivalency satisfied by transfer credit
- Alumni of DeVry University or its Keller Graduate School of Management are not eligible for scholarships unless specified within specified award criteria.
- Scholarship or grant applications must be received by Saturday, July 20, 2019 in order to be eligible for the July 2019 session. Award recipients who do not start in their intended term specified on admissions application are subject to use requirement allowing recipient one subsequent term to start classes and utilize award. Recipients who do not start within two terms will have their award expired and will have to reapply for available offerings at time of actual enrollment.
- Scholarship and grant recipients are expected to meet certain continuing eligibility criteria and progress in a timely manner toward completing their programs. To retain scholarship or grant eligibility, recipients must remain in good academic standing and meet additional conditions outlined in the terms and conditions document sent to award recipients.
- To qualify for scholarship or grant funds, students must maintain continuous enrollment on a session basis. Students will have a scholarship period that will begin at the start of the student’s enrollment and continue for six consecutive sessions. Students must enroll in at least one course per session in four of the six sessions in their scholarship period.
- Students eligible for multiple group tuition rates, pricing programs, scholarships or grants will receive the one most beneficial.
- Recipients must acknowledge receipt of the terms and conditions document pertaining to their specific scholarship or grant award. Disbursement of funds may be withheld until receipt of this document is acknowledged in writing and returned by recipients.

1The DeVry University Opportunity Grant will be available in the 2019-2020 school year (July 2019 – May 2020) to new and readmit students who meet merit and need-based qualifications. Subject to approval, use requirements, program level and availability of funds. Specific eligibility criteria applies. This grant cannot be used in combination with any other offer or award or group-specific tuition rate.

Scholarship will be awarded as $600 per semester for full time students and $300 per semester for students attending at least half-time with a lifetime award of $7,000. This scholarship cannot be used in combination with any other offer or award or group-specific tuition rate.
3Requires enrollment in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Technical Management bachelor’s degree programs.

5A semester equals two 8-week sessions. There are three academic sessions per year.
6Alumni tuition savings based on 20 percent off prevailing tuition rate.
7Special tuition rate charged at 10% less than prevailing tuition rate. Restrictions, requirements, and eligibility apply. Eligible family members include: a spouse, biological child, stepchild, Aunt/uncles, cousins, siblings, in-laws, nieces/nephews, legally adopted child, child for whom the alumni is a court appointed guardian, and child of a domestic partner. Family members are also defined as a domestic partner, in a committed long-term relationship, with a partner of the same or opposite sex. Neither party can be legally married to other individuals. Adoptive or biological parents of the eligible alumni can also qualify.
